you can drop a gs650 cylinder !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ) onto a 550 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with a little bit of work on the crankcase and bore the 650 sleeves out to accept the 750 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . It needs an oil cooler, but that just makes the bike look even more awesome, and this setup usually makes 80-90 crank HP with jetted carbs. Revs to 11k (though the 550 does as well haha). I may have to do this and swap it into my bike when ready... if only I had my own garage and didn't go to school halfway across the country.

Bike engines are small. Build it in your dorm room of whatever. Use it for a table until its ready.

Ya know, everything is better with a little boost...

That'd be pretty rad, but boosting N/A air-cooled engines can be an issue. I might try it sometime on a GS550 with the 650 pistons so there's a little more cylinder wall to work with and make sure oil is distributed extremely well and see how it goes. Probably be a few years, though lol

Lol. If I had a single I would. I mean, I've already got my current engine (stock 550) fully ripped apart and waiting for piston rings to arrive so I can reassemble it, so I know how little space you need. I've been thinking of acquiring a panel van as a sort of mobile garage.

Yeah, the tuning would be a nightmare, but if you did it, you would win at least 10 internets.

Not as much tuning as heat control haha. There isn't anything vacuum controlled so I would pretty much just need bigger carbs. You have piqued my interest, though.
